Has anyone ever felt a strong magnetic,vibrator-like force on their head, neck, and eyes when trying to wakeup
This morning, I tried to wake up, but I couldn’t. For approximately, 5 minutes, there was a strong, magnetic, massage-chair like feeling pulling neck and head back to my pillow. I could barely utter a whisper. Over and over, I asked “what do you want” and “let go”. This happened at 6 am. Has anyone felt this before? When I was able to wake up from this state, I felt VERY hot. I know I wasn’t dreaming, but I wasn’t exactly awake. Can anyone explain?
It’s not sleep paralysis. People who suffer from sleep paralysis can open their eyes. I couldn’t. The force that kept me down every time i tried to move was almost painful. The only way to describe it was a super strong vibration.
Sleep paralysis. I’ve had it a couple of times.

I had my girlfriend massage me but at no point did she touch a place where it really hurt. Normally I can feel the point and massage that bit to release the tension, but as I can’t do that this time, what else can I do?
you’ve pinched the nerve in your neck;; simply gotta relax the area as much as possible, ESPECIALLY with massage;; when & if this happens again, you need to treat it like it was a “cramp”;; you COMPLETELY relax the part immediately, & breathe out, to help you decrease the triggering (nerves) to the muscle that is “cramping”, same with the neck;; try taking an antiinflammatory, use MOIST heat (not dry), & again, relax the neck as much as possible, keep it supported, try gentle pain-free stretching to the neck in specific directions:: lower & raise chin, side<>side, & rotaion, but remember pain-free; if this does not get better in 3 days, you need to consult your doc;; you most likely spinned your head around, causing the muscle to cramp & it pulled on your cervical spine;; now there is swelling, so, if ya can’t get to the moist heat, then try a flexible gel cold pack instead;; both moist heat & cold pack (whichever you choose or have), should be applied for 15-20 minutes;; good luck, use to get these all the time (esp when I was in sports)…

For the past two days my neck has been extremely tense and now today on top of that I woke up with a migraine headache. I took medicine for the migraine and I tried using a heating pad for my neck… it has helped a little bit but not much. No one is around to give me a massage. Any other suggestions?
Sounds like you’re on the right track using a heated pad for your neck. You could also try some gentle neck stretches. A simple routine I often use can be found on the BBC website (here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/headroom/mood_improvers/relaxation_tracks.shtml?stretch). These can help loosen up your muscles when they’re stiff. I also find it helps to do them regularly to prevent my neck from becoming stiff in the first place – this is particularly useful if I’m doing work on the computer or am hunched up over a desk.
For the migraine, you could try a triptan – a medication which aims to stop the migraine by re-balancing the chemicals (Serotonin) in your head. Many of these triptans are only available on prescription, but you can buy one over the counter in the UK under the brand name Imigran.
Do you get migraines often? If so, it might be worth talking to your GP about medications which you can take every day to prevent them. Your GP can also refer you to a neurologist or specialist migraine clinic if this might help.
I also get migraines and have found the Migraine Action website really useful (www.migraine.org.uk). They have all kinds of information, along with a telephone and e-mail helpline for answering your questions.
