I hurt all the time.?

My doctor told me when I complained of body pain that I needed to lose weight. I am about 40 lbs overweight. I started going to the gym and while I did start to feel the benefits, the pain hasn’t stopped.
It is an all the time pain. If I actually take the time to recognize the pain, I can name about fifteen different places on my body that hurt for no reason that I can figure out.
It’s ruining my quality of life. My husband can’t tickle me without me feeling more pain than fun. We can’t have intercourse for too long because I start hurting and then it is no fun anymore. I can’t sit anywhere that doesn’t have back support or my back will start killing me. My shoulders hurt. My head hurts. Sometimes it’s a constant throb, sometimes it’s an all of a sudden ow that hurts.
I considered fibromyalga, but I just don’t know.
I also started going to a chiropractor and massage therapist. $95 a week until I went broke and still no significant loss of pain.

I am going to go with you on the fibromyalga problem. The thing about fibromyalga is that you are doing the best thing that you can for it by getting exercise. It may take a while to get rid of it but you can be assured that it did not come on over night either. I usually recommend jogging of one mile a day to help out or swimming for 15 minutes a day. Drink lots of water and cut out the sugars, they are like putting nails in your coffin. It is going to take a while to get out of the problem area that you are in, so don’t expect miracles overnight. In the meantime there are some methods of releasing the muscles in your back and neck that can make life easier for you. They are the following, and do the one for your back first:
For your neck:
place your hand alongside your head and push your thumb in under your ear and place it on the muscle there. Take your fingers and place them on the back of your neck on the muscles there. Press them together and hold a good amount of pressure on them. Then relax, take a deep breath an happening, the muscle going limp under the pressure. Continue to hold until the entire muscle has gone limp.
Back:
Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg or even over it if you can, the more over the better it is. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side.

How far along were you when you got your first prenatal massage?

Did you keep going back for more through your pregnancy? Im definitely getting on sometime in August with my Aunt who is 3 weeks ahead of me but Im wanting to get one done like now… I just need a little relaxation! My head is constantly pounding and I think a massage will help :D

I waited until I was into my 3rd trimester, just because I am a paranoid person, but my therapist told me after the first trimester and when you feel comfortable with it, because a lot of people think it will put you into labor (no luck for me, I was 37 weeks).
