My Metacarpo-Phalangeal joints? [Read More]?

You know that one bone?
[Example] Look at your index/middle finger. That spot in the middle where you can bend your fingers is the metacarpo-phalangeal joint.

Yes, i didn’t know the name, so i looked it up on Google (x Well i crack that bone A LOT (like move it side to side) and it became quite fun for me.
But my friend told me her mom used to do it when she was younger, and now that bone kind of ‘pops out’ and makes the rest of her finger chubby, cause of her bone.
It now happens to me, and my toes too! It’s like my fingers all slim, then BOOM there goes the bone! LOL! But yeah i want to get some advice from you people out there, and how i can solve this.
(I tried massaging it, but it’s a BONE)

No answers like ‘go see a doctor’ please, cause i’ve already planned to visit my family doctor soon about this question.

I take it you’re talking about your knuckles?
First of all, stop cracking them. If you stop popping them the swelling will decrease and may even go away entirely (depending on how long you’ve been cracking them for). You can also take some anti-inflammatories to decrease the swelling.
Basically, just stop cracking your knuckles.
