What is wrong with my back?

I am a 19 year old male, in good shape and health.
I’ve been having lower back pain for the past 4 months or so, and I’ve tried everything to get rid of it.
I’ve seen a massage therapist, a chiropractor, an acupuncturist and an active release therapist. None of which has worked. My back is still in pain, and it seems to be spreading up farther on my body. Its not a herniated or slipped disk, x-rays were fine, no trauma and it had a chronic onset. I’m running out of doctors to see and the pain is preventing me from doing my daily routine. Any input would be appreciated.

If you have not seen a spinal surgeon, I would recommend going to one. I have a herniated L-5 disc and I thought I was out of options after having three rounds of epidural shots that were not helping very much. I went to the surgeon and got a prescription for pain medicine and went to a physical therapist for treatment. After the PT and working on the core muscles, I am not having as much pain or very little pain. I have avoided surgery for now, which is the good thing. Good luck. I hope you are able to get better.
