shoulder massaging cushion
If you are having back of neck pain; what would you do?

I was wondering what the opinions of those who have already had chiropractic care for problems with the back of their neck/upper back because of wearing away of the cushioning between their disks , causing pinched nerves, cracking sound , some discomfort and pain in shoulder and back of neck? Regular appointments with a chiropractor usually won’t mend the spaces between the disks- ( or will it)? so which is better: a chiropractor or diet supplement and/or with home massage and physical therapy in your own experience? Do you really feel that chiropractic care is the best option? What about taking certain diet supplements such a collagen, vitamin D and omega oils or other over the counter items that are claimed to build up what was lost, has any of that helped in really helped with continued use? Thank you for all of your comments.

Hello Dear!

I went to a chiropractor and had an “adjustment” It actually made the pain worse and to top it off they expect you to keep coming back to “re-align” you. Get a massage! It always makes you feel better and it feels good! I also take Soma muscle relaxants when i get the occasional flare up and the Soma works miracles! Soma is a muscle relaxant used to relieve the pain and stiffness of muscle spasms and discomfort due to strain and sprain. Get more excellent info about soma at Watson-Soma.us, http://Watson-Soma.us/

Hope you Feel better Dear!

massaging exercise ball
My baby wants to feed all the time and when he’s not feeding he’s screaming?

My 2 week old son wants to feed every hour and a half for a good 45 minutes straight, so he’s only taking about 45 minutes in between feedings. When he’s not breastfeeding he’s screaming his head off in the day, but sleeps a solid 5 hours at night. He falls asleep for very brief moments during the day, once he’s unlatched from my breast, but the moment I set him down or try to move him he’s up again and screaming. And getting him to settle down is nearly impossible, I’ve tried rocking, bouncing on an exercise ball, swaddling, singing, massaging him, etc, I’m wondering if he has colic because the only time he seems content is when he’s breast feeding & after he’s done he’s crying hysterically. Will switching to formula instead of breast reduce colic? Or should I be trying something different, cutting out any foods? I’m really worried about him, I can’t seem to calm him down. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

hey..i had the same problem…my baby is 12 weeks old now…dont worry..its the first few weeks that are the toughest…it gets easier…please please dont make the mistake of introducing formula…ur supply will reduce accordingly and then ur baby will be deprived of whats best for him…my little girl used to fall asleep at the breast and then when i lay her down she would wake up crying for more…this would go on and on..and finally when shes had enough and goes to sleep, she wouldnt wake for several hours..i would get too worried about her sleeping without feeding for so long, but had a tough time waking her up..but now at 12 weeks, she feeds ever 2 hours during the day and every 4 hours during the night…but that couple of hours before she finally does go to sleep at night, she likes to feed continuously on and off…as i said, it gets easier every week…nothing is as tough as the first couple of weeks…i had sore bleeding nipples, a very hungry baby and an accusing mom to deal with….all the best…keep up the good work..

massaging sore shoulders
Sore legs and Shoulders?

I’m a gymnast and we recently had a brake, when I came back and conditioned and stretched i was fine. But I’ve been doing about 2 times as many hrs. as I used to and very sore.

My shoulders are sore from conditioning, and I’ve tried massaging and taking a long hot bath but that didn’t really work.

My legs are also sore from conditioning mostly around my knees and thighs. But I also hurt where my hips and legs join together. Probably from doing the splits.

PLZZ answers I’m in sooooooo much pain! THNX!

This soreness could be as a result of not having been worked like this for a while (an example only).

I would recommend letting your mom know what’s going on so that she can help you keep an eye on the situation.
