What is the best Island in Tahiti to visit for a romantic honeymoon?

I am getting married in August and we want to go to Tahiti for about 10 days. We mainly want to be beach bums and get plenty of massages. Other things that are important to us are swimming, deep sea fishing, sailboat sunset cruises, snorkeling from a catamaran, swimming with dolphins, waterfall tours, etc. We want our trip to be luxurious and romantic. I assume you already know that traveling to Tahiti and its islands isn’t cheap but if you want your honeymoon to be memorable, then you’ve made the right choice. I’m a local from Tahiti and there are actually couple places you might want to consider.

On the main island of Tahiti, there are 3 main hotels that I would recommand.

Le Meridien Hotel is the best if you want to spend quality time at the Beach, snorkling, massage, etc. it’s also the fartest hotel from Papeete.

BeachComber Hotel is another 5 stars hotel located less than 5 minutes from the airport and 15-20 minutes drive to Downtown Papeete. Great place to stay if you like to stay close to the city (for shopping)

The Sheraton Hotel is even closer to Papeete. Great place to stay. Excellent view of the sister island Moorea.

Spend about 5 days on the main island of Tahiti, 1 days in Moorea, 1 day in Tetiaroa (Marlo Brando island) and 3 days in Bora-Bora and you’ll be able to fufill all the things you wanted to to.

The only thing to remember is the price! The pricier it gets, the more memorable it becomes.
