How do I know if I am getting a hernia?

I’m 29 – Female.
I jog for 40-60 minutes a day
I do hundreds of crunches on an ab roller.. hundred b/c it isn’t much work.

I had a cramp pop OUT of my right front side today… 1-2 inches up and to the right of my belly button.

I had to breathe deep and massage and push it back in. I am sore there.

I was sitting on the toilet and could not get up… I could not sit up and when I looked down and saw it I nearly passed out. but once I pushed it back in I was fine.
I’m getting married the weekend after this one and I have tooo much to do … I cant go to a dr anytime soon. And we have a weeklong honeymoon afterward. I work overnight and MUST sleep from 8am-2pm
I am NOT postponing the wedding.

This could be a hernia, but one can only tell by having a doctor do an examination for one. Hernias leave distinct signs that a doctor is trained to look for.

Can fibromyalgia form from physical injuries?

I have had chronic pain for the last two years from a diving accident. I always have pain and have been on many medications such as vikadin and percocet. I got to physical therapy twice a week and massage and acupuncture once a week. My injury has no diagnosis yet. I was told by a massage therapist that a lot of what she felt in my back and neck related to a lot of what she feels in fibromyalgia patients of hers. She assured me that she’s not saying that I have it, she just said thats what she feels and that I should ask a doctor about it. I looked on wikipedia and I have almost all of the side effects of fibromyalgia but it doesn’t say that you can form fibromyalgia from physical injuries, only from mental, emotional, and from like bad jeans. Can you form it from physical injuries?

Since no doctor is sure how fibromyalgia is started in someone.. I’m sure you will find some sites saying it can be formed from trauma.. and some sites saying it can’t.
